Frolic Polo Club - Founded 2008

Although Frolic Polo has only recently been affiliated, the 220 acre equestrian farm has been quietly building itself to adopt the polo fraternity of this vastly growing sport in the Cambridgeshire area. The farm houses five polo pitches on grade one soil of black peat. This has unrivalled value to the welfare of limbs and joints and acts as a cushion ride. We also have the added advantage of a great drainage system around the whole farm. Central to the farm is a large reservoir together with water abstraction rights to fully irrigate the polo pitches. The weather conditions of the Gods, from drought to torrential rain, has never disabled any of our tournaments.

Ed and Lou Wright own and manage the club and property. As farmers they fully understand how to maintain the pitches to the highest level. With Fabio Lavinia as the club manager for the last few years, we seem to have forged a winning antidote to the frustrations of many players and members to create a well organised professional playing club with amazing grounds.

The club has almost filled its quota of members with new interest joining from all areas of England who want to play on the best pitches. All levels are welcome and accommodated, as the club can offer instruction, chukkas & tournaments backed up by overnight self catering holiday lets, Club house which includes disabled toilets and showers, kitchen facilities and social area (The Punt) to a very high standard.
